Abstract

Prices of various commodities in August 2018 generally showed a decline. Based on the results of monitoring in August 2018 there was a deflation of 0.16 percent, or a decline in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 136.66 in July 2018 to 136.44 in August 2018. The 2018 calendar year (January-August) inflation rate was 2, 04 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (August 2018 against August 2017) is 3.43 percent
