BPS Attends 2024 Central and Regional Government National Coordination Meeting

Acting Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti attended the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) on the Implementation of Central and Regional Governments organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri_RI) in Sentul, Bogor (7/11). This Rakornas was also attended by the Main Secretary of BPS, Imam Machdi; Deputy for Distribution and Service Statistics of BPS, Pudji Ismartini, along with the Head of Provincial BPS and Head of Regency/City BPS throughout Indonesia.

The event was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. In his remarks, Prabowo emphasized the importance of collaboration from all decision makers to make Indonesia a developed country.

The activity took place in four panel discussions with resource persons from ministers and leaders of high state institutions of the Red and White Cabinet. Carrying the theme "Implementation of Asta Cita Towards Golden Indonesia 2045", the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, in his report said that this coordination meeting aimed to discuss the importance of efficient governance and budget for the next five years.

The series of Rakornas was closed by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. He reminded again that there should be no sectoral ego between agencies, both in the central government and regional governments.
