E-Learning and Zoom Meeting Sakernas Officer Training August 2020

July 29, 2020 | BPS Activities

The Grobogan Regency BPS conducted a Sakernas officer training in August 2020 with e-learning learning and was delivered through a zoom meeting. This training was carried out in 2 waves, namely the first wave on 23-25 July 2020 and the second wave will be on 27 - 29 July 2020. Before the e-learning training was conducted, a simulation was carried out on July 22, 2020 followed by all PCLs , PML, Inda and Host. The number of Officers consisted of 33 PCL and 16 PML, 2 Regional Instructors, and 2 Hosts.

The training program was opened by the Head of Grobogan Regency BPS, Drs. Syafi'i Nur, M.Si with regional instructor Jarot Kurniawan, S.ST (Head of Social Stat.) And Iis Ana Nurlatifah, SE (Staff of Social Stat.). The health protocol continues to be applied in this training. The Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is an important source of employment data in Indonesia. Data generated from this survey include estimates of the number of working population, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators.

In August 2020, the questionnaire was refined to adjust the "new normal" conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Changes to the questionnaire include:

1. The concept of employment uses the concept of ICLS-13.

2. Add questions related to the impact of Covid-19 on employment based on ILO recommendations.

3. Simplifying the questionnaire by reducing the number of questions from 65 questions to around 31 questions.

4. Editorial questions are made simple so that they are easily understood by respondents who do the data collection independently.

5. Questions are grouped sequentially based on each topic, namely the topic of work, unemployment, and not the labor force.

In addition to the change in the questionnaire, Sakernas in August 2020 also experienced adjustments in the data collection business process. This adjustment was made according to the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic in the enumeration area
