What will BPS-Statistics Indonesia do in 2019 to prepare for the 2020 Population Census?

2019 gave a distinct impression to statmin and BPS. In that year BPS fought with the preparation of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020). There are many new things in the seventh Population Census, which are new challenges for BPS. For this reason, BPS has done several things including the following:

Internalization, in the form of strengthening material on the Population Census of BPS Employees. Internalization was carried out in various events such as Rateknas which was participated by all BPS leaders throughout Indonesia.
Trials, which have become compulsory, before the census is conducted, trials are first conducted in various provinces. Trials were carried out in Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan, Maluku Tanimbar Islands, Yogyakarta Kulon Progo, Jembrana Bali, Makassar South Sulawesi, and luxury apartment and residential areas in South Jakarta.
Collaboration, SP2020's basic data that will use data from dukcapil has made collaboration between BPS and the Ministry of Home Affairs that has existed long ago. The Population Census does not only belong to BPS but to all elements of the nation. Its success also depends on BPS collaboration with other related parties.
Socialization, providing information and invitations to the public to participate in the success of SP2020. This socialization was carried out in stages from the central level to BPS in the regions.
