The development of prices of various commodities in January 2015 in general showed a decrease. Based on the results of monitoring in January 2015 deflation of 0.35 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 121.03. The inflation rate of the calendar year (January) 2015 of 0.35 and the year-on-year inflation rate ( January 2015 to January 2014) respectively by 6.15 percent.
De flasi occurs due to a decrease in the price indicated by the decline in the index in two (2) groups of commodities, namely foodstuff by 3, 65 per cent and the group transport, communications and financial services by 3.98 percent. While five (5) other groups experienced inflation, ie processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 1, 91 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 2, 06 percent; clothing group 1.18 percent; health care at 0.27 percent and education, recreation and sport 0.29 percent.
