The state institution that oversees public services, the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman, released the results of the 2024 Public Service Provision Compliance Assessment of 25 ministries, 14 institutions, 34 provincial governments, 98 city governments, and 416 district governments at an award ceremony at the Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta (11/14).
In the institution category, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) won the highest predicate for public service implementation compliance with a score of 94.99. Deputy for Distribution and Service Statistics of BPS, Pudji Ismartini, represented BPS in receiving the award. Of the 14 institutions assessed, 11 institutions entered the Green Zone, and 3 of them entered the Yellow Zone.
Chairman of the Indonesian Ombudsman, Mokhammad Najih, in his speech said that there was an increase in the number of service providers entering the Green Zone or receiving the Highest and Highest Quality Opinion in 2024 compared to 2023. "The results of the 2024 compliance assessment nationally show a positive trend, as seen from the increasing number in the Green Zone and the decreasing number in the Yellow and Red Zones," he said. Najih asked all providers to continue to maintain and improve compliance standards in public services. According to him, this appreciation is not just recognition of the performance that has been achieved, but also as motivation to continue to improve the quality of service.
