Opening of Sakernas Training (National Labor Force Survey)

Sakernas Training (National Labor Force Survey) is an activity that aims to train field officers in conducting surveys of the labor force throughout Indonesia. This survey was conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to collect data on various aspects of the workforce, such as the number of people employed, unemployment, labor force participation rates, and other demographic characteristics.

The training event which was held on Monday, July 22 2024, at Hotel 21 Purwodadi was designed to improve the quality of implementing the Sakernas survey. The training participants are field officers from various areas in Grobogan district who have been selected to collect data directly from respondents in the households in the Sakernas sample.

In this training, participants will be equipped with knowledge about survey methodology, effective interview techniques, use of survey instruments, as well as an in-depth understanding of the aims and importance of the Sakernas survey. In addition, they will also be trained to overcome various field challenges they may encounter, such as dealing with uncooperative respondents or ensuring the accuracy of the data collected.

Hotel 21 Purwodadi was chosen as the training location because of its adequate facilities and easy accessibility for participants from various areas in Grobogan district. Thus, it is hoped that after attending this training, field officers will be able to carry out their duties more efficiently and produce accurate and representative data for statistical analysis and public policy purposes.
