Inda Training Updating EA SLS 2024

Friends of Data - As a producer of Basic Statistics data and a Statistics Supervisor, BPS needs to prepare a master sample frame that is complete and up to date for use in every survey. Since the 2020 Population Census, BPS has started to use Local Environmental Units (SLS) as Enumeration Areas (EA). The challenge of using SLS as an EA is that it is very dynamic, so it is necessary to update the SLS EA. In general, the EA SLS 2024 Updating activity aims to update all administrative areas, as well as areas at lower levels that are experiencing changes.

The 2024 SLS Area Enumeration activity series at district/city BPS begins with Regional Instructor Training (IDA) which is carried out online by BPS Central Java Province and is attended by all Inda candidates from district/city BPS throughout Central Java. This training includes independent learning (Massive Open Online Course/MOOC) on 22-23 April 2024 as well as Distance Learning/PJJ (online) on 24-26 April 2024. On Wednesday 24 April 2024 the training was opened directly by Dr. Dadang Hardiwan S.Si, M.Si as Head of BPS Central Java Province.

The Inda candidate Updating EA SLS 2024 from BPS Grobogan Regency who took part in the training was Dheriana, S.E.. During the training, the Inda candidate had to take part in a series of activities consisting of quizzes and pretests, delivery of material by Innas, discussion of cases in the field, independent assignments and post tests , as well as a final exam as an evaluation to measure Inda's level of understanding of the material taught in the training.
