FGD on Preparation of Grobogan in Figures for 2024 and Development of Sectoral Statistics

On Thursday, February 1 2024 at the Front One Purwodadi Hotel on Jl. Gajah Mada No. 89 Purrwodadi, BPS Grobogan Regency held Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Preparation of Regions in Numbers 2024 and Development of Sectoral Statistics. The activity was attended by BPS organics, OPD, vertical agencies in Grobogan Regency, BUMN, BUMD and others.
Head of BPS Grobogan Regency Anang Sarwoto, S.Si, MM gave a speech during the series of events, he said that the importance of data as a basis for development planning and evaluation. Building without data is like walking without a goal. The Head of BPS also conveyed information about the Statistical Development Index (IPS). The Statistical Development Index (IPS) is an index to measure the achievements of the Implementation of One Indonesian Data (SDI) and Sectoral Statistical Data both in Ministries/Institutions/Regional Governments.
Compiling Regions in Figures is one of BPS's efforts to realize one data, as is BPS's obligation to compile Regions in Numbers in order to meet the needs of data users. The DDA preparation activity was carried out using the statistical data compilation method to collect sectoral data in Grobogan Regency. In the process of preparing the DDA, it followed the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) business process which is the reference for all statistical offices throughout the country.
At the core of this activity, discussions were held with a roundtable concept where at each table there were 4-5 data sources accompanied by 1-2 facilitators so that discussions regarding the preparation of Regions in Numbers could focus on the objectives according to the name of the activity carried out, namely Focus Group Discussion.
Apart from that, there were presentations from two presenters from BPS Grobogan Regency, namely Kholid Ali Akbar, S.ST, M.SE Young Expert Statistics who delivered about Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) and Aris Khariri, S.ST Young Expert Computer Pranata who delivered about One Indonesian Data (SDI).
