On November 6 2023, the Grobogan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Team conducted guidance in Cantik Village (Love Statistics Village), Putat village, Purwodadi sub-district, Grobogan district. This activity aims to increase people's understanding of statistics and involve them in the process of collecting and analyzing accurate data.
Putat Village is known as the "Village of Love of Statistics" because of its commitment to the development and understanding of statistics in society. BPS Grobogan Regency has worked together with the village government and its residents to create a culture of using statistical data in planning and decision making. This is one of the villages that has become an example for other villages in terms of applying statistics in everyday life.
One of the main focuses of developing Cantik village is how statistical data can be used in village development planning. This helps the people of Cantik Village to formulate development plans that are based on strong evidence and data.
It is hoped that this coaching activity can have a long-term positive impact on Cantik Village. It is hoped that the public will be more aware of the importance of statistical data in decision making, both at the personal level and at the village level. Village governments are also expected to be more efficient in planning development and allocating resources.
Apart from that, Cantik Village can be an example for other villages in Grobogan Regency and throughout Indonesia in terms of applying statistical data in everyday life.
