Development is basically an effort and process of improvement that is planned, integrated, gradual and sustainable in various fields. To measure the success or failure of development, various indicators and statistical tools have been developed.

The preparation of these indicators/analytic tools requires data on the structure of business/company income and expenses as well as trade and freight margin ratios.

For this reason, BPS has conducted the 2023 Integrated Balance Survey ( Sinasi ) which is one of the instruments to obtain this data.
