Implementation of Inter-Regional Trade Survey (PAW)

In 2021, the Central Statistics Agency will conduct a Trade Survey integrated with the Inter-Regional Trade Survey (PAW) that has been conducted by BPS since 2017. Therefore, in addition to the profile of the trade sector, there will also be a value and a map of trade between regions. Trade between regions is the trade and distribution of goods from one province to another that differ in the same country. The availability and needs of commodities in each province are different and fluctuations and disparities in the price of basic goods between regions are quite high factors driving the occurrence of trade between regions.

With the implementation of the Trade Survey in 2021, it is expected to produce an overview of the profile of business economic activities / companies in the trade sector, both at the provincial and national levels and according to the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) as well as an overview of the trade map between provinces in Indonesia, which can be used as a reference for the construction of a more efficient trade distribution system.

PAW sample allocation in Central Java province as many as 1641 spread across 35 districts / cities. While in Grobogan Regency itself as many as 39 PAW sample companies.
