The role of manufacturing industry added value in the formation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is still quite dominant both before, during and after the economic crisis. For this reason, the development of this sector needs to be continued because in addition to increasing added value it can also increase employment. Manufacturing industries, especially large and medium scale in the formation of GDP to total industry GDP, have contributed around 85% more, even though the number of large and medium scale industries is less than 1% of the total number of industries. So by observing large and medium scale industries, it is expected to be able to capture the industry as a whole. Data collected in the annual Large and Medium Industry Survey activities include: Manufacturing Industry Directory containing the name and address of the company, labor, wages / salaries received by workers, input costs, value of output, value added, use of raw and auxiliary materials, quantities and value of types of goods produced, percentage of capacity and addition / subtraction of fixed capital goods. The purpose and benefits of this survey are to provide complete, accurate, relevant and timely data and information on large and medium industrial statistics for evaluation materials and development planning especially in the industrial sector manufacture. For 2020, the Grobogan Regency BPS receives 36 companies from the Annual and Medium Industry Survey.
